The municipality of Beersel is launching 'Beersel on Tour', an initiative to facilitate accessible conversations between residents and local government, and to share ideas.

Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and engage directly with local government employees in an accessible way. This initiative is a concrete implementation of the participation pact 'Beersel doet mee' (Beersel Participates) and aligns with the ambition from the multi-year plan to more actively involve residents and employees in projects and decision-making.
The concept of BEERSEL ON TOUR has been deliberately kept simple: open a chair, take a seat, and have a chat. This first edition focuses on children, youth, and families. Therefore, BEERSEL ON TOUR will connect with activities specifically organized for this target group in the coming period, creating a natural and relevant dialogue with residents for whom projects concerning youth and families are directly relevant.
The first stop took place last Sunday during the family brunch 'Samen koken, samen genieten' (Cooking Together, Enjoying Together) at the municipal community hall, an initiative within the framework of 'De Toekomstmakers' (The Future Makers), a themed month full of activities for families, children, and youth.
Residents are warmly invited to join the upcoming activities in October:
• Workshop “Samen dansen” (Dancing Together), Friday, October 16 • 4 PM - 9 PM • Buurthuis Babbellot
• Radio cava?!, October 23 • 1 PM - 3:30 PM • DOC Alsemberg
