The Kunstraad (Art Council), Cultuurdienst (Cultural Services), and library of Lebbeke are joining forces for this charity event. The proceeds aim to provide extra support to the elderly population, as a token of appreciation for their contribution to society.
Drawn artists or poets will visit residents before the Christmas holidays to create the window drawing or deliver the poem. This is in exchange for a voluntary contribution of at least 20 euros. The drawings are made with white chalk on the outside of the window and are easily removable. The campaign starts on November 17.
