The Yellow Box is designed to help residents over 65 manage essential information. It can store personal details, a recent medication list, and other relevant documents. By keeping the box in the refrigerator door, emergency responders can easily locate it during a critical situation. A sticker on the inside of the front door indicates its presence.
The Yellow Box is now available again at the reception of the Kluisbergen town hall. Those interested in collecting a box should make an appointment in advance by calling 055 23 16 39.
Upon receiving the box, it is recommended to fill out the accompanying information booklet as completely as possible. It is also advisable to include a recent medication sheet from your local pharmacist and a copy of your identity card. Individuals with a living will can also add a copy of this document. The completed box should then be stored in the refrigerator door, with the provided sticker placed at eye level on the inside of your front door.
