In a relaxed cafe atmosphere, accommodation providers in Lommel exchanged experiences and explored opportunities to improve the guest experience. The evening, guided by Filip Nicasi of Horeca Partners, was not a classic information session but an interactive session focused on the guest journey.
Together with the providers, the entire guest journey was examined, from the choice to visit Lommel to the memories guests take home. The accommodation providers shared insights from their daily practice and discussed potential improvements and new collaborations.
Niek Janssen, director of Visit Lommel, emphasized the importance of the providers as ambassadors: “Our accommodation providers are close to visitors every day and know better than anyone what guests appreciate and where opportunities lie. With Café Logé, we want to listen, share experiences, and think together about how we can further strengthen the guest experience in Lommel. Because we build an attractive tourist destination not alone, but together with the people who work hard for it every day.”
Café Logé aims to strengthen the bond with accommodation providers and stimulate mutual cooperation. By sharing experiences and ideas, providers and Visit Lommel can reinforce each other and collectively build a hospitable destination where visitors enjoy staying and returning.
The first edition of Café Logé is considered a successful starting point for further dialogue. Participants found the evening inspiring and valuable, and the conclusion was clear: this initiative deserves a follow-up.
