The municipality of Lanaken has launched two new WhatsApp groups to quickly and efficiently inform local entrepreneurs about practical information.

To make communication more relevant, two separate groups have been created: 'Traders & Services' for retail, hospitality, and service providers in the center and sub-municipalities, and 'Companies & Industry' for businesses located on the industrial and business parks of the municipality of Lanaken.
Through these groups, entrepreneurs will receive current messages about, among other things, roadworks, use of public domain (IODs), utility works, and other developments that may impact their business or daily operations. The focus is on last-minute information, changes, or urgent notifications.
The WhatsApp groups complement existing communication channels such as email. They offer the possibility to quickly inform entrepreneurs about unexpected changes or important updates, while official and detailed communication will continue through the usual channels.
To keep communication organized, the groups are exclusively for information sharing. Participants cannot respond to messages.
Entrepreneurs who want to stay informed quickly about relevant information can join by scanning one of the QR codes available on the municipality's website. Together, the municipality aims to ensure smooth, clear, and up-to-date communication with local entrepreneurs.
