The Pedagogical Trajectories (PeTra) program at Campus O³ provides young people like Michael with extra support to overcome social and emotional challenges, leading to successful outcomes.

Michael, a boy described by his mother Veerle as "a boy with a gingerbread heart," experienced difficult times in secondary school. After a carefree primary school period, his academic results declined, and he became sad due to problems at home and school.
Through the school's care teacher, the family learned about Campus O³'s Pedagogical Trajectories (PeTra). This program offers extra support to young people who face social and/or emotional difficulties. Michael was willing to participate and knew well the person he wanted to be, but needed help finding the way.
Michael shares that he was shy at first, but gradually got to know the other boys in the group better. Through shared activities like indoor climbing and eating fries, he learned to push his boundaries, cooperate, and handle peer pressure. This boosted his self-confidence and perseverance, and he even gained a good friend.
Veerle sees her son flourishing again: "Fortunately, we are increasingly seeing the talented, cheerful, and calm boy he has always been." Michael has started the new school year with great enthusiasm.

"The most important thing is that the children and young people feel good here and can be themselves. We look for goals together and work towards them step by step. Parents and schools are important partners. Together with them, we examine what can be changed in the environment so that the young person gets the peace and space to grow."

PeTra
PeTra stands for Pedagogical Trajectories and is a support program from Campus O³. It targets children and young people from the 4th grade up to 16 years old who face social and/or emotional difficulties.
