The market square of Beringen-centrum will transform into a festive zone for the Weekend of the Customer on Saturday, October 3rd, and Sunday, October 4th, featuring performances, local catering, and entertainment.

From Saturday, October 3rd, to Sunday, October 4th, Beringen-centrum will be entirely dedicated to the Weekend of the Customer. Local retailers, supported by the city and in collaboration with be-MINE Boulevard, are organizing a grand celebration in the market square. Visitors can enjoy free performances by artists such as Jo Vally and De Bonanzas. Local hospitality businesses will be present with food and drink stalls, and entertainment for children is also provided.
To encourage local shopping and thank loyal customers, the retailers are going all out. The market square will be transformed into a party for young and old. On Saturday, Maarten Cox and Jo Vally will kick off the weekend, while Charlize Band and De Bonanzas will provide the musical atmosphere on Sunday. Local catering entrepreneurs will offer delicious food and drinks throughout the weekend.
Ornella Schreurs, alderman for Local Economy, expressed her enthusiasm: "I am very proud that our retailers have organized such a fun event. It will undoubtedly be a fantastic weekend to give back to loyal customers and simultaneously give new customers the chance to discover all the great shops in our center."
Jannik Vanreppelen, chairman of the vzw Centrummanagement and owner of Bike Center Beringen, looks forward to the weekend: "Without customers, there is no more offline trade. We are happy that people continue to choose the quality and service we offer locally. That's why, as retailers, we have consciously chosen to really spoil all customers and show our gratitude."
Furthermore, six fashion stores will host a fashion show on Thursday, October 1st, in the old brewery building on Burgemeester Geyskensstraat. The collections from six fashion stores — Émia, Orselli, Coquette Lingerie, Stiff Style, Pearle, and Dress-Mie — will be showcased to the public that evening, accompanied by tapas and music. Over 200 registrations have already been received for the show.
Visitors to the fashion show can also participate in the well-known sticker campaign. Anyone who buys something in a participating fashion store and at another participating hospitality or retail store has a chance to win a 25 euro voucher, redeemable at a clothing store in the center. This promotion runs throughout the weekend.
