The corridors of De Meidoorn and Bloesempad, the complex with rental apartments for the elderly, located between WZC Rustenborg and ’t Gasthuis, have been enlivened with artworks by Wijnegem artists for several years. These works are regularly replaced by others.
Wijnegem artists who wish to exhibit some of their works there until the end of 2027 are welcome to apply. The works must be a maximum of 1 meter high and suitable for hanging on a wall.
De Meidoorn and Bloesempad are not publicly accessible spaces, so the artworks can only be viewed by residents and their visitors. An exception is on November 28, 2026, from 10 AM to 12 PM, when the local administration is organizing an opening reception, allowing everyone to admire the exhibition.
