Schoten is among the ten municipalities in the province of Antwerp vying for the title ‘Warmest Locally Preferred Municipality’. This is thanks to the many votes cast by residents for their favorite local traders for the Liever Lokaal Award.
Through this award, the province of Antwerp aims to highlight local shops and give them the recognition they deserve. Residents can vote for their favorite Schoten shop in five categories: warmest neighborhood store, best service, most beautiful store, most sustainable store, and most innovative store.
Those who wish to support their favorite local trader and help the municipality towards the title can easily vote online via the button on the municipality's website.
