Expo 'Taal is thuis' brings stories of Praatpunt participants to life

Participants from Praatpunt visited the library and the Baobar in Mol on Thursday, October 8, to attend the 'Taal is thuis' (Language is Home) exhibition. Volunteer Ann previously collected words that are significant to participants and wrote poems about them. The exhibition runs until Monday, October 26.
At Praatpunt, adults practice Dutch in small groups, discussing everyday topics. The excursion to the 'Taal is thuis' exhibition offered a different way to practice the language.
Volunteer Ann listened to the stories behind the participants' chosen words and incorporated them into poems. During the exhibition visit, participants had the opportunity to read their own poems.
Everyone is welcome to visit the ‘Taal is thuis’ exhibition at the library (Molenhoekstraat 2) and the Baobar (Santo Tomásplein 1) until Monday, October 26.
This exhibition is part of the 'Week van het Nederlands' (Week of Dutch), running from October 10 to 18, which highlights the versatility of the Dutch language.
Praatpunt, one of the language practice opportunities in the municipality, welcomes residents every Thursday evening from 7 PM to 9 PM in the restaurant of the local service center in Ten Hove (Jakob Smitslaan 28).
