Mechelen has found a new partner for its M-shuttle service: Keolis will take over operations from November 1st, using larger, partially electric minibuses and an online tracking system.

The current contract for the M-shuttle minibuses in Mechelen has expired. Following a new tender process, Keolis emerged as the best candidate. The new operator will use larger minibuses, reducing the number of trips required. Passengers will be able to track the minibuses online and better estimate their waiting times.
During off-peak hours, passengers with wheelchairs will always be able to board. During peak hours, it is advisable to check the online availability of minibuses, as different types of vehicles will be deployed.
The standard vehicle from the new provider is electric. Keolis is taking all necessary steps to transition their entire service to electric operation. The minibuses will also be equipped with screens to provide information to passengers.
Keolis will commence operations on November 1st, following the established routes and schedules. The city of Mechelen also expresses its gratitude to Hendriks for their ten years of safe and friendly service.
