The Nekkerhal in Mechelen is dedicated for three weeks to AI, data, smart approaches, and technology with the FTI expo, providing a realistic glimpse into our future.

During the opening evening of the Flanders NEXT expo, visitors were immersed in a world of innovation. A robot capable of laying bricks was showcased, alongside virtual fries and music generated from visitor data, movement, and clothing. These technologies offer a realistic view of the future, and the expo is recommended for all ages, families, and explorers.
In addition to the expo, various themed days will take place in the coming weeks. Sports NEXT focuses on how data, science, and technology are transforming sports and health. Jobat NEXT offers career opportunities, while KMO NEXT brings together entrepreneurs, managers, and business leaders for an inspiring evening on the future of entrepreneurship in Flanders. Furthermore, there are exclusive shows about AI, data, hacks, and hoaxes, including Live Nerdland sessions.
Visitors with an FTI ticket can also climb the Sint-Romboutstoren tower for free, an initiative in collaboration with Visit Mechelen. The FTI expo is part of a broader autumn program for entrepreneurs and explorers in Mechelen.
