The local government of Heist-op-den-Berg is concluding the Heist Jogging Series with the first edition of the Color Run on Saturday, October 10th. This event, proving more successful than anticipated, has only 50 spots remaining. Registration is possible by phone at 015 46 16 70 or online via the municipality's webshop. On-site registration will not be available.
The Color Run is not a competition with timekeeping, but an experience run focused on fun and atmosphere. Participants are encouraged to wear a white T-shirt and immerse themselves in an explosion of color while running, walking, or dancing. The event is open to all ages.
Practical information: The run will take place at the Sporthal, Lostraat 48 A, Heist-op-den-Berg. The start is at 2 PM. The course is 2.5 kilometers long and can be completed a maximum of two times. Participation costs 6 euros. A white T-shirt, sportswear, running shoes, and sunglasses are recommended attire.
Although the Color Run does not count towards the Heist Jogging Series standings, it serves as a festive closing event for the sports year. Winners of the adult series prize can also collect their Heistbon during this event.
