Donating blood is essential and can save lives, while only taking an hour of your time. In Heist-op-den-Berg, blood drives will take place between 18:00 and 20:30 on the following dates and locations:
- Thursday, October 29, community hall, Dorp 23, Wiekevorst
- Wednesday, November 4, community hall, Ter Laken 4, Booischot
- Thursday, December 10, community hall, Leo Kempenaersstraat 16, Schriek
- Wednesday, December 16, community hall, Schrieksesteenweg 71, Pijpelheide
- Thursday, December 17, community hall, Kapelstraat 50, Grootlo
The Red Cross is committed to the smooth organization of these mobile blood drives. To spread out attendance, it is mandatory to make an appointment in advance. You can register via the donor portal at donorportaal.rodekruis.be or by calling the free number 0800 777 00.
If you are unsure whether you can donate blood, you can take the donor self-test available at www.rodekruis.be/wat-kan-jij-doen/geef-bloed-of-plasma/bloed-geven-hoe-waar-en-mag-ik/donorzelftest/. This will prevent unnecessary trips. The safety and hygiene of donors are always the top priority.
