The official opening of the Kombine Tuinwijk neighborhood bistro in Antwerp was a great success, with a full bistro and terrace on a sunny late summer day. Visitors enjoyed good food, music, and a pleasant atmosphere.
The day began with 125 registrations for the celebratory lunch. Later in the day, Jelle Cleymans performed, earning a standing ovation from both customers and local residents. Steven De Lelie also had everyone singing along to Flemish classics.
The official opening moment was led by neighborhood care manager Christophe Jonckers and chairwoman Nathalie van Baren.
In addition to lunch, visitors could also enjoy snacks from the Kombine Foodtruck or the Caribbean barbecue, where over 100 meals were sold. The cocktail bar was also a major success, with more than 150 cocktails made.
The late summer party at the Melgeshof residential care center, which was also full with residents and their family members, was also considered a great success.
