From Sunday, September 27, 2026, Antwerp City presents the free exhibition 'Antwerp Unfiltered' at Het Steen. More than 100 residents and city enthusiasts have shared their personal vision of Antwerp through analog photos taken with disposable cameras.
During the spring of 2026, the participants, a diverse group of various ages, backgrounds, and interests including influencers, city hosts, photographers, and city employees, explored Antwerp. Their assignment was to capture the city as they experience and see it, resulting in over 3,000 analog images.
The exhibition showcases a selection of these photos, offering a glimpse of Antwerp through the participants' eyes. From favorite coffee bars and flower shops to hidden viewpoints and beloved museums, the images provide an authentic perspective.

The photos are spontaneous moments, captured with simple disposable cameras, without editing or filters. This allows for chance and spontaneity, resulting in an unfiltered view of the city and its unique characteristics.
'Antwerp Unfiltered' brings together these personal stories, highlighting the versatility of Antwerp. The exhibition is thematically organized around five senses: See your Antwerp, Hear your Antwerp, Taste your Antwerp, Feel your Antwerp, and Smell your Antwerp, inviting visitors on a sensory journey.

The exhibition takes place at Het Steen (Steenplein 1, 2000 Antwerp) from Sunday, September 27, 2026, to the end of January 2027, with free admission.
