The 'Flower Bulbs for the Neighborhood' project in Waregem is once again a success, with 40,000 flower bulbs to be planted in public green spaces this autumn.

The 'Flower Bulbs for the Neighborhood' project by the city of Waregem has once again attracted significant interest. Following the city's call, 16 applications were approved for planting flower bulbs in public green areas.
In total, 40,000 flower bulbs will be planted this autumn, in addition to those planted by the municipal services. This amounts to one flower bulb per inhabitant of Waregem.
Neighborhoods and associations will receive their packages, including crocuses, daffodils, and bluebells, before the autumn break. They can then get to work to add extra color to their areas and enhance biodiversity.
The plantings must be completed by November 15. Through this initiative, Waregem continues to build a greener and more blooming living environment.
