The municipality of Lendelede is supporting the Flemish "WE SEE YOU" campaign to send a clear message against (sexual) boundary-crossing behavior, with a focus on young people.

Many people, especially young individuals aged 14 to 25, encounter (sexual) boundary-crossing behavior, ranging from online harassment to unwanted physical contact. The municipality of Lendelede aims to send a signal to victims, bystanders, and perpetrators with the "WE SEE YOU" campaign.
The message to victims is clear: it is never your fault, help is available, and you don't have to face it alone. Bystanders are encouraged to intervene or offer support. Perpetrators are informed that their behavior will not be tolerated and that they must take responsibility.
Those who recognize this behavior, have experienced something, or are concerned can contact various organizations for free and anonymous support. The Hulplijn 1712 offers assistance with violence, abuse, and child abuse. The Flemish Reporting Point for Boundary-Crossing Behavior is available for professional reports and advice. Children and young people can reach out to Awel, and for underage victims of sexual abuse, there is the anonymous chatbox Nu Praat Ik Erover.
Additionally, the Zorgcentrum na Seksueel Geweld (ZSG) provides immediate free medical and psychological help for victims of sexual violence that occurred less than 7 days ago, with the option to file a report.
