Around All Saints' Day, visitors to Ichtegem's cemeteries can once again discover various poems. These texts are intended to pause and reflect on loved ones who are missed, to recall memories, and to find a moment of peace.
In addition to the cemeteries, three permanent comfort spots are also available, even outside the period around November 1st. These are located in the garden of WZC Sint-Anna, at De Kouter in Bekegem, and along the Sparrewegel in Ichtegem. These green locations offer a space for contemplation and remembrance.
Anyone needing a personal moment of peace is welcome at these comfort spots.
