The tender procedure has been completed. Wegenbouw Ivan Vuylsteke has been appointed for the construction of the new sewage system and the road reconstruction in Erkegem. Before these works commence, the utility lines will be renewed first.
The utility works will start in the week of October 26. Affected residents will receive a letter with more information beforehand. In preparation for the works, Wegenbouw Ivan Vuylsteke will carry out soil investigations at various locations within the project area in the week of October 5. Several test pits will be dug for this purpose. The contractor will inform the affected residents.
Before the start of the sewage works, the municipality is organizing an information meeting for the affected residents. More explanation will be provided on the planning, the progress of the works, and the expected impact. Affected residents will receive an invitation for this.
