During the event Reveil, there will be an opportunity to reflect on people we miss and share memories. The church and the burial and memorial site of Oostkerke will be transformed into a warm and peaceful meeting place.
At 5 PM, city singer Sofie Dhaens, along with Roland Van De Velde, Mieke Van Loo, and Johan De Waele, will perform a subdued consolation concert. Through music and communal singing, a moment of peace and connection will be created.
The concert is free and accessible to everyone, without the need for reservations. On November 1st, Reveil brings people together around the memory of those who are no longer with us and the comfort we can find in each other.
The event takes place on Sunday, November 1st, 2026, from 2 PM to 5 PM. The intimate remembrance moment starts at 2 PM, followed by the consolation concert at 5 PM. The location is the church, burial, and memorial site in Oostkerke, Sint-Kwintensstraat 2a, 8340 Oostkerke.
