Beernem is calling on its residents to help with the competition. The challenge is to collect as many reusable items as possible that deserve a second life. These can be brought to the Kringwinkel (second-hand shop) or, for large items, picked up for free.
Participating in the collection drive not only helps Beernem win the title but also contributes to the environment, the local community, and the social economy.
The winner of the Kringkampioen 2026 will be announced during the week of November 2.
