On Wednesday, November 11th, the Municipality of Ternat will commemorate the 1918 armistice with a peace vigil and floral tribute.

On Wednesday, November 11th, we commemorate the armistice of November 11, 1918, which marked the end of the First World War. We will reflect on the events of the First World War, honor the memory of all who fought for our freedom, and remember the fallen and victims of wartime violence.
Everyone is welcome to attend the commemoration, which will take place at the Sint-Gertrudis Church in Ternat. The day begins at 10:30 AM with a peace vigil in the church.
Following this, a floral tribute will be held at the monument near the church to pay respects to the victims of war. After the floral tribute, a reception for everyone will be held at the town hall from 12 PM to 1 PM, offering a moment to gather and discuss.
