Patients and visitors at UZ Leuven can now read digital comics for free within the hospital. Through the free Wi-Fi network UZLeuven-gast, they get access to the offerings of Strips.be, available via a mobile app on their own smartphone or tablet.
To use the service, connect to the free UZLeuven-gast Wi-Fi network, download the Strips.be app, and start reading immediately. No account is needed. The selection includes over 3,000 albums across more than 150 different comic series, including De Kiekeboes and Camille.
Free access is available to anyone connected to the UZLeuven-gast Wi-Fi network on the Gasthuisberg, Pellenberg, and city campuses. Hospitalized patients can read unlimited comics from their beds via an app on their Octopuz screen.
For those who wish to continue reading digitally at home, a subscription is required.
