On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, the municipality of Huldenberg, in collaboration with Interleuven and housing company Woontrots, is hosting a participatory event for the residents and neighbors of Priesterdelle. The aim is to gather experiences and ideas from the community for a future housing project featuring affordable homes on the site at Priesterberg 16. Currently, temporary emergency housing is located there, which will soon be relocated.
During this meeting, local residents will have the opportunity to express what they appreciate about Priesterdelle, as well as highlight any challenges or issues they face. Which areas deserve extra attention, and what are the community's needs? The collected suggestions will be incorporated into the development of potential scenarios for the housing project, ensuring that the neighborhood's unique character and needs are considered from the outset.
The participatory event will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, at the local community center ’t Pijlijser, located at R. Borremansstraat 2 in Huldenberg. Residents are welcome to drop in at their convenience; no prior registration is required. Refreshments will be provided.
