Starting Friday, October 23rd, yellow code will be in effect throughout Belgium due to expected wind gusts of up to 100 kilometers per hour.

Yellow code will be enforced in all provinces from Friday morning. This means wind gusts of 80 to 100 kilometers per hour are expected.
To ensure the safety of residents and visitors, the local authority of Wichelen has decided to close the following forest areas from Friday morning until further notice: Onnebossen, Eetgoedbos, and the Vallei van de Serskampse Beek.
The risk of falling branches or uprooted trees is particularly high during stormy weather. The authority strongly urges people not to enter these areas until further notice.
Furthermore, it is advised to bring in or secure trampolines and garden furniture to prevent them from flying away. Parking your car under a tree is also discouraged.
