Today, the Municipality of Sint-Lievens-Houtem welcomed six motivated young people for the YOUCA Action Day. For one day, they had the opportunity to work alongside various municipal departments.
From the new reception and the Social House to the Nature Education Centre, the sports department, and the youth service: the youngsters enthusiastically lent a hand everywhere. However, their commitment extends beyond their own municipality.
The wages they earned today will be donated to projects run by engaged youth worldwide. In this way, they make a difference not only locally but also internationally.
The municipality thanks the young participants for their enthusiasm, dedication, and fresh perspective on their operations, stating they performed wonderfully.
