Residents of Belsele can now easily withdraw cash and change their PIN at a new CASH point, located at Sporthal De Klavers. This initiative, part of a broader strategy to place ATMs in strategic locations, also provides additional banking services.

The new CASH point, a CASH KIOSK with two ATMs, is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Regardless of their bank, citizens can withdraw cash and change their PIN. Customers of Belfius, BNP Paribas Fortis, ING, and KBC can also check their account balance and use additional card services.
The choice of location at Sint-Andriesstraat 5 in Belsele (Sint-Niklaas) was carefully made, focusing on places people frequent and where access to cash remains relevant, such as village centers and community hubs. This new point aims to facilitate cash access for local residents.
The ATMs are designed for universal accessibility. They feature a voice guidance system for the visually impaired, a keyboard with tactile relief and Braille, and the screen is obscured when headphones are connected. The keyboard is also accessible from a wheelchair.
Safety and discretion are paramount. The keyboard is shielded against prying eyes, and mirrors above the screen allow users to monitor their surroundings. For assistance, users can contact the helpdesk via the number displayed at the CASH point. Information on the Card Stop procedure is also clearly explained. All CASH points are under 24/7 CCTV surveillance.
