From Friday, September 25th at 12:00 PM, after the market, the Witte Torenwal will be closed at the raised threshold near Solidaris. This threshold will be repaired, followed by the renewal of road markings.
During the works, a temporary traffic situation will be in effect, making the Witte Torenstraat and Glycinestraat two-way. Entry is possible via Stift. Road users are asked to take the changed situation and the existing signage into account.
Those who are past the threshold at the time of closure may still leave the area. Users of the underground parking can also exit. After leaving the zone, re-entry is not possible until Sunday, September 27th in the late afternoon.
The threshold repair will take place on Friday, and on Sunday, September 27th, the road markings will be applied. The closure will therefore remain in effect until Sunday late afternoon.
Residents of Witte Torenwal, Witte Torenstraat, and Glycinestraat will be personally informed next week with a letter about the temporary traffic situation.
