Koe-Boe-Party won on Friday evening the Alken Award for Entrepreneurship 2026. The award, organized by the Alken Entrepreneurs Council (ORA) and the municipal government, honors deserving local entrepreneurs.

This year, the category for small businesses was central, for companies with a turnover under 1 million euros and a maximum of ten employees. Interest was high with 10 submitted candidate files, one of the highest participations ever. After evaluation by the jury, KoffieRuis, Koe-Boe-Party, and Fit-Design were selected as laureates. A public vote with 944 unique votes, a record number, ultimately determined the winner.
Koe-Boe-Party, known for their original concept bringing young and old together on the farm for parties and on-location events, convinced both jury and public with their combination of entrepreneurship, hospitality, creativity, and local anchoring.
The award ceremony took place with a renewed concept in a municipal venue, focusing on local talent. After the welcome by the mayor, attendees enjoyed a keynote by entrepreneur Jan Kriekels on courage, innovation, and future-oriented entrepreneurship. The hall was decorated with works by local Alken artists.
The prizes, including a gift basket with local products and 350 euros in Alken vouchers for the winner, highlighted the local economy. The organization looks back on a successful edition with high participation and a record number of votes.
