Kringwinkel Schilde is participating in the competition for the title of Kringkampioen 2026, an initiative running from October 17 to 31 to encourage the collection of reusable goods.

Kringwinkel is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special challenge for all Flemish municipalities. From October 17, the Day of the Kringwinkel, through October 31, municipalities will compete for the title of Kringkampioen 2026. One municipality in each province will be named champion.
The challenge is to collect as many reusable goods as possible per inhabitant. Residents of Schilde can bring their items that deserve a second life to the Kringwinkel at Turnhoutsebaan 444 during the campaign period. Free home collection is also available for larger items.
This initiative contributes to the environment, the social economy, and the municipality itself. The call to action is: 'Let's go for it together. Let the battle begin!'
