For parents sending their child to out-of-school childcare for the first time, special 'settling-in moments' have been arranged. These sessions offer the opportunity to visit the childcare facility together with the child, meet the caregivers, and have any questions answered.
During these introductions, children can explore the environment, which aims to help them feel comfortable in the care setting. Parents will receive the necessary information to leave their child with peace of mind.
The dates for the introduction days for the 2026-2027 school year are: Wednesday, October 28, 2026; Wednesday, December 16, 2026; Wednesday, January 27, 2027; Wednesday, February 3, 2027; Wednesday, March 31, 2027; and Wednesday, May 5, 2027. The sessions will take place between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
If these times do not suit, interested parties can contact kinderopvang@rumst.be to discuss an alternative appointment. The introduction days will be held at all locations of the out-of-school childcare.
The locations are: BKO Hupsakee at Hoogvelden 11 in Reet, BKO Toverbos at Europalaan 1 in Terhagen, BKO Villa Kakelbont at Kerkstraat 9b in Rumst, and BKO Zonneland at Seringenlaan 2 in Reet.
