On Friday, October 16, the autism information market brought approximately 150 visitors together at KSOM Campus Sint-Paulus in Mol. The event, a collaboration between the autism working group of the advisory council for persons with a disability and the municipal council, highlights the importance of accessible information and support regarding autism.

Individuals with autism, family members, caregivers, professionals, and other interested parties could find information, advice, and practical tips from around 30 exhibitors. The interest demonstrates the ongoing importance of accessible information and support for autism. The information market also served as a low-threshold meeting point where visitors could browse the stands at their own pace. A quiet room was available for those needing a break.
During the event, visitors received answers to questions concerning leisure time, school and work, housing, and support. Professional supporters and people with lived experience engaged with attendees, offered advice, or directed them to appropriate help.
The information market took place during the Unlimited Month, an initiative focused on participation. Through a varied program of information sessions and inclusive activities, attention is drawn to persons with a disability. Everyone, with or without a disability, is welcome to participate, contributing to an inclusive municipality where everyone can be themselves.
The full program for the Unlimited Month is available on the municipality's website. Visitors can also subscribe to the 'Onbeperkt Mol' newsletter to stay informed about news and activities for persons with a disability throughout the year.
