Residents of Millegem are invited to Miloheem on Tuesday, October 13th, for the kick-off event of Veerkrachtig Millegem, an initiative to jointly develop a resident vision for the village.

On Tuesday, October 13th, you are welcome at Miloheem (room 2), Milostraat 13, between 3:30 PM and 7 PM for the kick-off event of Veerkrachtig Millegem. Through this initiative, residents and the municipal council are collaboratively creating a vision for the village. We want to hear what's working well, what could be improved, and what opportunities you see for Millegem's future. Registration is not required, and you can drop in at any time.
During the kick-off event, we will listen to your experiences and ideas. What are Millegem's strengths? What needs improvement? What do young families require? How can we ensure residents continue to meet each other? Staff from Rurant will facilitate the event, helping to clarify ideas and points of attention. All input will be compiled into the resident vision, which residents and the municipal council can work with in the coming years.
The Veerkrachtig Millegem project runs until March 2028. The kick-off event is the first step, followed by two more resident meetings on Monday, November 30th, and January 11th, both from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Here too, building on the input from the kick-off, you can help shape the needs and future opportunities for Millegem.
Millegem has approximately 30 associations, a school, several shops, and is vibrant with an active community life.
