Starting November 1st, Keolis will take over the operation of the M-shuttle in Mechelen, emphasizing sustainability and passenger convenience.

Following a selection process, Keolis has been chosen as the new partner for the M-shuttle service in Mechelen. The previous contract has ended, and after a new tender, Keolis emerged as the best candidate. The new operator will deploy larger minibuses, reducing the need for frequent trips. Passengers will be able to track the minibuses online, allowing them to better manage their waiting times.
During off-peak hours, passengers with wheelchairs will always be able to board. During peak hours, it is advisable to check the online availability of minibuses, as different types of vehicles will be in use.
Keolis's standard vehicle is electric, and the company is committed to a fully electric service. The minibuses will be equipped with screens to provide passengers with information. The familiar routes and schedules will remain unchanged.
This new partnership also marks the end of a ten-year collaboration with Hendriks, who consistently transported passengers safely and courteously to their destinations. The city of Mechelen thanks Hendriks for their pleasant cooperation.
