The Province of Antwerp is calling on residents to share their views on the Lille-Kasterlee mobility chamber via an online survey open until October 15.

Regular users of the area around Lille and Kasterlee are encouraged to participate in an online survey. The aim is to identify opportunities and bottlenecks for cyclists, pedestrians, and other traffic within the zone.
A mobility chamber is an area where traffic safety and liveability are paramount. The Lille-Kasterlee mobility chamber is situated between the residential cores of Lichtaart, Poederlee, Lille, Gierle, and Tielen. Within this area, pedestrians and cyclists share the road with local motorized traffic, while through traffic is largely directed around the chamber via larger connecting roads.
This approach aims to make walking, cycling, and staying in the area safer and more pleasant, while ensuring that homes, farms, and other destinations remain easily accessible.
During a previous information market in Lille, about twenty residents discussed topics such as speed, road surface condition, and space for cyclists and pedestrians. The online survey now offers another opportunity to provide experiences and points of attention, even for those who could not attend the information market.
Participation in the survey is open until October 15. For those who prefer a personal conversation, an information market will be held on Tuesday, October 6, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at OC Tielen, Kasteeldreef 34 in Kasterlee. Here, initial findings can be viewed and points of attention can be shared.
