Bornem is challenging everyone to join the race for the title of Kringkampioen 2026. From October 17th to October 31st, residents of Flemish municipalities, including Bornem, can collect kilograms of reusable items. The goal is to collect the most items per inhabitant and bring them to De Kringwinkel.
One municipality per province will be crowned Kringkampioen. Residents are encouraged to search their closets, garages, or attics for items that deserve a second life and bring them to De Kringwinkel.
For larger items that are difficult to transport, De Kringwinkel offers a free pick-up service.
